So much of urban life is hidden, desolate, and, even, decaying - what happens when we dress it up a little? Whether through graffiti on towering walls or flora poking through the cracks, our world is in drag - just like our bodies, intermingling with the ruffles of a silken gown. The body placed in a concrete jungle finds itself amidst the busy emptiness of what seems so permanent, but is really performing before our eyes - flashes of colour describing its meaning. When life is in drag, it is alive, once again.
