Behind the Lens, Beyond the Sport is a photo series that explores the lived experiences of women in sport, capturing both visible moments and those less often seen. Funded by the Arts Council through Ignite Your Power CIC, the project highlights resilience in the face of inequality, underrepresentation and societal pressure. By presenting women athletes in a range of contexts, the series invites viewers to look deeper and recognise their strength and right to be fully seen.
